Giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficulty

(LĐXH)- On January 9, Vietnam Social Insurance donated social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Kon Tum province.
Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance Chu Manh Sinh presented social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in Dak La commune, Dak Ha district, Kon Tum
The program awarded social insurance books and health insurance cards to 55 people in difficult circumstances in village 5, Dak La commune, Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province.
This activity is part of the program "Giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances and bringing a warm Tet to the poor in Xuan Giap Thin" of Vietnam Social Insurance, associated with the goal of "social insurance and health insurance for all people" set out in Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 and Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW dated May 23, 2018.
Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance Chu Manh Sinh shared that this meaningful activity hopes to receive the cooperation and contribution of the social community so that more and more workers can participate in social insurance as well as people receive health care through health insurance; practically responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister.
At the same time, continuing the tradition of "giving kindness and spreading love" that has been implemented by officials, civil servants, and public employees throughout the social insurance secor in recent years.
By the end of 2023, the total number of people participating in social insurance in Kon Tum province is 59,864 people, reaching a workforce coverage rate of 19.79%. The health insurance coverage rate is 93.22% of the population./.
