09:47 AM 02/09/2022
(LĐXH)- From October 1, 2022, employers will no longer be able to reduce unemployment insurance premiums. The unemployment insurance premium will return to 1% of the monthly salary fund of employees who are subject to unemployment insurance.
On September 24, 2021, the Government issued Resolution 116/NQ-CP in which to support employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
Accordingly, the employer is entitled to reduce the contribution rate from 1% to 0% of the monthly salary fund of employees who are subjects to unemployment insurance.
In which, the subjects entitled to a 1% reduction in unemployment insurance premiums (from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022) are employers who are participating in unemployment insurance before October 1, 2021.
The above-mentioned employers do not include state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, people's armed forces units and public non-business units whose expenses are guaranteed by the state budget./.
